Nassington is a charming, character village just over five miles north of the town of Oundle. The village has a general shop with Post Office, a high-class butcher's shop, hotel with restaurant and bar on the river Nene, a family hairdresser, a vintage teashop and public house with restaurant. A fish van visits weekly and a mobile library calls monthly.
The pre-school is Ofsted Outstanding and a thriving primary school is Ofsted Good. There are school buses to Prince William Secondary School in Oundle as well as Casterton College, Rutland. There are independent/public schools in Oundle and Stamford. The village hall and church community are both very active. A private dentist and NHS surgery with pharmacy is two miles away in Wansford.
Trains from the city of Peterborough, which is about 12 miles away, run to London in under an hour, and the A1 motorway is situated about two miles to the east of Nassington.
